McDonalds - garden side salad instead of chips
In so many words, I went to Macs, got a Quarter Pounder w Cheese meal, but opted for a garden side salad instead of chips. It was really ok, but then I was still hungry, so got 6 Chicken McNuggets as well. Photo evidence:

Check out the salad dressing bag – how un-McDonalds does it look? Clean white and dark brown (the ‘B’ is for Balsamic, btw) with the 'salads plus' orange and green branding on it - really out of place next to my quarter cheese box and Coke. It’s like brightly colored armies fighting it out on my tray liner – reds and yellows vs the new organic crew. This needs sorting, though all in all I think the salad option is a hit.

Bit confused by my bag from a quarter pounder I had the other day though. An old woman playing pool, with the strapline in a billion different languages… I’m not quite there.
Then, on the other side, we have a plug for goactive. This is a pointless website talking about active lifestyles. It’s a good example of half-hearted move by a big corporation to show love to new half-formed idea of generally doing exercise, without any memorable actions or idea behind it.

It’s definitely an exciting time for McDonalds though, and noone is sure what they’ll look like in 5 years or so. I hope it's all red and yellow.
